Spell Your Name- File Folder Activity

One of the most important skills I teach my kids is how to spell their name.  I created these cute file folders for each of my kids that were still learning their name.

For student’s that are just starting out with this skill, I have them match the tile letters.

We use these file folders in addition to many other name games.  We use magnetic letters, play doh, alphabet crackers, letter tiles etc.  I use a multi-modal approach to letters, sight words and names.  I do not want any child to get bored.  What other name games do you play?
